Privacy Policy
Zouk connects to your Instagram professional account so you can automate replies to comments and direct messages.
What we collect
When you connect your account we store your Instagram user ID, username, account type, and an access token issued by Meta. When someone interacts with your account we store that person's Instagram-scoped ID and username, the text of their comment or message, the related comment, message, and media IDs, and a record of every message we send on your behalf.
Why we collect it
Solely to match your automation rules, deliver the replies you configured, and show you what happened. We do not use it to train models.
How access tokens are protected
Access tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before being written to our database, using a per-record initialization vector. They are never written to logs and are never returned by our API.
Sharing
We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for advertising. Data is sent to Meta only as required to deliver the replies you configured.
Retention and deletion
Records are retained while your account is connected. Disconnecting deletes your account record, automations, events, send history, and subscriber records.
Your rights
You may disconnect at any time from the console, or by removing Zouk in your Instagram settings, which triggers our deauthorization endpoint. You may also request deletion at any time. See Data Deletion.
